Functional Consultant (Microsoft Dynamics NAV / D365 BC)Work Mode: Remote/Hybrid (3 days per week). Contract Duration: 6 months (potential extension – long-term project)Location: GermanyTravel: Moderate, on need basis (UK/Switzerland)Language Requirement: Fluency in German is mandatory🔹 Role Title: Functional ConsultantMinimum Relevant Experience: 5 years🔹 Detailed Job DescriptionERP ExpertiseMinimum 7 years of hands-on experience as a Supply Chain Management (Trade & Logistics) Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and D365 Business Central implementations.At least 2 years of experience in Finance module.Domain KnowledgeStrong understanding of Supply Chain processes – Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Inventory, and Warehouse Management.In-depth knowledge of Inventory setup, master data, transfers, and return processes.Familiar with Inventory costing, valuation, and financial accounting.Understanding of localisation requirements.Project & Functional SkillsExperience in requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and preparing functional design documents (FDDs).Skilled in data migration.Experience working with onsite/offshore delivery models.Ability to lead Conference Room Pilots (CRP) to demonstrate functionality to business users.Preparation of end-to-end business scenarios for SIT and guiding users during UAT.Prepare project plans for implementation projects.Soft SkillsExcellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.Ability to communicate effectively across levels and mediums.Experience working with US customers/teams.✅ This role is ideal for an experienced Dynamics NAV/D365 BC Functional Consultant who is fluent in German, with strong Supply Chain and Finance expertise, and open to moderate travel within Europe.
