Provides strategic and operational leadership for enrollment management functions, including student recruitment, admissions processing, and related enrollment technology. Leads the development and execution of enrollment strategies and processes designed to support institutional enrollment goals, improve the prospective and incoming student experience, enhance operational efficiency, and support data-informed decision-making. Provides leadership and oversight to directors, managers, and staff responsible for assigned Enrollment Management functions.
Position Description
- Evaluates enrollment processes and the prospective student journey to identify service gaps, operational inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve recruitment, admissions, and enrollment outcomes.
- Uses enrollment, recruitment, admissions, and operational data to evaluate performance, identify trends and opportunities, establish priorities, and support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Provides leadership for enrollment-related technology and systems associated with recruitment, admissions processing, communications, applicant management, and related business processes.
- Develops, recommends, implements, and evaluates policies, procedures, workflows, and business practices related to assigned Enrollment Management functions.
- Interprets and applies applicable University and Texas A&M University System policies and procedures and relevant state and federal requirements within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Collaborates with University leadership, academic and administrative departments, System offices, and other internal and external stakeholders to coordinate enrollment initiatives, resolve issues, and advance institutional enrollment priorities.
- Provides fiscal and resource oversight for assigned recruitment, marketing, travel, operational, and staffing resources. Monitors expenditures and promotes responsible use of university resources.
- Represents Enrollment Management and the University in meetings, committees, professional activities, community engagement, and interactions with external organizations as assigned.
- Develops and monitors operational goals, performance measures, and service expectations for assigned areas and implements improvements to support accountability and continuous improvement.
- Supports the Vice President of Enrollment Management in the development and implementation of divisional priorities, enrollment initiatives, and special projects.
- Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

Provides direct supervision to director, assistant director, and other assigned positions within Enrollment Management. Provides indirect leadership to employees reporting through subordinate supervisors and managers.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ten years of related experience, including progressively responsible experience in enrollment management, recruitment, admissions, or related higher education functions.
- Experience providing leadership or supervision within enrollment management or a related functional area.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in an applicable field.
- Progressive leadership experience overseeing multiple enrollment-related functions.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Knowledge of enrollment management, student recruitment, admissions, and related higher education practices.
- Knowledge of principles and practices related to strategic enrollment planning and enrollment operations.
- Knowledge of applicable institutional policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Working Conditions
Standard office environment. Position may require travel and driving a University or personal vehicle for University business. May require evening, weekend, or other work outside normal business hours to support recruitment events, enrollment activities, meetings, and institutional needs.
