The Technology Solutions (“TS”) Department is responsible for designing and delivering state of the art technology solutions that are designed to create efficiency, mitigate risk and grow revenue for the Firm. Technology Solutions is also responsible for defining, managing and executing a robust Cyber Security program following the NIST Cyber Security Framework. Technology Solutions focuses on technical excellence through innovative application designs, robust data integration and analytics, high availability infrastructure and gold level service for our key stakeholders with information security embedded throughout. Critical functions within Technology Solutions include Project Management, Vendor Management, Business Analysis, Enterprise Data Governance and Stewardship, Application Development and 3rd Party Integration, Strategic and Secure Infrastructure and Operations. The Technology Solutions Department collaborates closely with Firm leadership and business unit heads to develop plans in line with business objectives.
Position Responsibilities
The Vice President will manage a team of internal and external resources to ensure the end-to-end delivery of scalable, governed and production-ready enterprise reporting solutions with a primary focus on Power BI, semantic models, development standards and delivery excellence. This role will operationalize the enterprise report development model, partnering with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Scrum Masters, Data and Business Teams to translate priorities into solutions and maintain accountability for technical execution, delivery quality, lifecycle management and production readiness.
Responsibilities include:
- Power BI Technical Leadership & Report Delivery:
- Leading the end-to-end delivery of Power BI reporting solutions, including design, development, testing, deployment, support and production readiness
- Leading the team to deliver high-quality reporting solutions with an enterprise-wide perspective and broad data domain knowledge beyond a single business unit
- Ensuring report deliverables align with data governance standards, the Firm’s master source of truth and Firm Glossary definitions to promote consistent enterprise data usage
- Monitoring delivery performance with key metrics, identifying risks / dependencies and taking action to maintain quality, timelines and production stability
- Identifying opportunities to modernize reporting solutions through improved data models, self-service enablement, automation and greater development efficiency
- Driving innovation in analytical report deliverables through reusable patterns, automation, modern visualization practices and scalable semantic model design
- Defining and maintaining report development standards, testing expectations, documentation practices and reusable delivery frameworks
- Governing Power BI and Fabric workspaces to support secure access, organized content structures, deployment pipelines, version control, lifecycle management and scalable report delivery
- Team Management:
- Managing, mentoring and developing a team of report developers, including vendor and partner resources, to deliver high-quality outcomes
- Setting clear expectations for accountability, execution, documentation, testing and quality while actively removing blockers that impact delivery
- Power BI Enterprise SME:
- Contributing insights to the Reporting Community of Practice to improve enterprise reporting standards, tooling, governance and reusable delivery practices
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Data, Business Intelligence or a related field
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise reporting, data analytics or business intelligence delivery preferably within financial services or asset management
- Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop Reporting or Analytics Teams including setting expectations, providing feedback, building team capability and driving accountability for results
- Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality analytical reporting products that balance business usability, technical scalability, performance, supportability and governance
- Provide technical leadership in Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, including data modeling, reporting architecture, governance, deployment and performance optimization
- Experience modernizing reporting solutions through automation, reusable design patterns, improved data models, enhanced analytical capabilities and scalable semantic model practices
- Strong understanding of enterprise reporting architecture, development standards, governance frameworks, testing practices, operating models and cross-domain data concepts
- Demonstrated success leading teams and managing vendor or partner resources
- Experience driving process improvement, automation and delivery efficiency within analytics or reporting environments
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and business audiences
- Self-motivated, results-oriented and accountable with the flexibility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools
- Demonstrated ability to effectively leverage AI tools in day-to-day work, with strong critical thinking to assess accuracy, limitations and appropriate use of AI generated outputs

Compensation and Benefits
For Illinois Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $115,000 to $180,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
