Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.


This role is contributing to the Electrification, Distribution Solutions - Sales and Marketing Organization in Qatar.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
• Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating value propositions to customers.
• Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
• Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role

• You are highly skilled in sales process, managing key accounts and developing new businesses in the assigned market segments.
• Ability to demonstrate your references and previous achievements in sales figures and customer satisfaction measures. You have 5 to 8 years of experience in sales and marketing in the electrification industry or a similar field.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of electrical distribution products and solutions.
• Strong experience in medium voltage in the oil & gas
• You are passionate about customer interactions, collaborations and adding value.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or having a demonstrated track record in sales of electrical products and solutions.
• You are at ease communicating in English. Arabic language is an advantage.
