UW Medicine's Telesitter Program located at Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Cardiac Monitor Technician (CMT).

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
The CMT Telesitter program provides monitoring from a central monitoring center for patients of UW Medicine who require cardiac telemetry surveillance.
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the nursing staff with surveillance of cardiac monitors including identification and communication of dysrhythmias
Assist with the clerical and support activities for patient care on the nursing unit
Receive visitors to the unit and facilitates contact between the patient/family and appropriate discipline
Participate in unit and selected departmental activities to promote effective problem solving and communication
REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or GED
Completion of a course in cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation, or one year experience in monitor surveillance in a coronary care/telemetry unit
Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration
