Senior Android Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Android Developer to join our partner's team and contribute to the development of innovative digital solutions within the mobile banking sector. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications, delivering secure, reliable, and seamless mobile experiences for banking customers.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Android SDK and Kotlin, a solid understanding of dependency injection using Dagger 2, and experience integrating REST APIs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and enhance digital banking applications, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and a user-friendly experience.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Android SDK.

Build scalable, reliable, and high-performance mobile banking solutions.

Integrate REST APIs to connect mobile applications with backend services.

Implement and manage dependency injection using Dagger 2.

Collaborate with product owners, designers, backend developers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality digital banking features.

Develop and maintain clean, reusable, and maintainable code, following Android development best practices.

Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance, stability, and responsiveness.

Ensure the security, reliability, and quality of mobile banking applications.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions and architectural decisions.

Identify opportunities to improve existing applications, development processes, and overall user experience.

Stay up to date with Android development trends, tools, and best practices.

Requirements

Proven professional experience as a Senior Android Developer or in a similar role.

Strong knowledge of Kotlin and hands-on experience with Android SDK.

Experience with Dagger 2 and dependency injection principles.

Solid experience integrating REST APIs and working with backend services.

Experience developing and maintaining native Android applications in a production environment.

Familiarity with mobile application architecture, design patterns, and software development best practices.

Understanding of mobile application security, performance optimization, and debugging techniques.

Experience in digital products or mobile banking applications is highly desirable.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Ability to write clean, efficient, testable, and maintainable code.

Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
