Baptist Medical Center Beaches is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) team on a PRN night shift basis. In this role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to mothers, newborns, and families throughout the childbirth experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn patients.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, postpartum care, and newborn care.
- Advocate for patients and support individualized plans of care.
- Document patient care accurately and in accordance with hospital policies.
- Respond quickly and effectively to changes in patient condition.
Qualifications:
- Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- BLS certification required; additional maternal/child health certifications preferred.
- Experience in Labor & Delivery, Mother/Baby, Women's Services, or a related specialty preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient care skills.
- Diploma nurses must have 5+ years of progressive nursing experience.
Schedule:
