Description
Our client is a 5* International Chain Hotel with +/- 200 Rooms and multiple F&B outlets.
This role will be reporting directly to the Executive Sous Chef.
Please note that this position is available for Indonesian Nationals only.
Profile
• Experience in 5* hotel or in high end free-standing Japanese Restaurant
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
• Well experienced in different facets of Japanese Cuisine; traditional and modern
• Experience in luxury hospitality or premium Japanese cuisine, including Omakase, is a plus
• Good knowledge of food cost control, recipe costing and yield management
• Good knowledge of HACCP, food hygiene and food safety
• Able to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem solving skills
• Organizational skills with good eye for detail
• Able to train the team members on Japanese Cuisine
• Good English both oral and written
• Mature and nice personality
• High standard of presentation and grooming at all times
• Energetic, results oriented, motivated, hard working
• Good attitude, proactive and reliable, team work and passionate
• Computer literate
• Professional, detail oriented and able to work under pressure
