The Mission of the  Denver District Attorney's Office is to professionally and competently prosecute crimes and investigate criminal activity on behalf of the people of the State of Colorado and to seek equal justice for all in the criminal justice system. What We Offer 

The City and County of Denver offers a competitive salary commensurate with education and experience. The full pay range for this position is $68,773-$113,476/year based on your experience and education. We also offer generous benefits for full-time employees which include but is not limited to:

Location

This position reports on site at the Republic Plaza building located at 370 17th St suite 5300 Denver, CO 80202.

What You’ll Do 

We are currently seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to perform various HR activities, including employee recruiting, hiring and onboarding, HR record management, leave administration, and HR compliance.  Candidates must be proactive, efficient, and capable of handling sensitive information with discretion. They must be able to ensure all HR operations are running smoothly and in compliance with office policies and regulations.

The responsibilities for this position are, but not limited to:

• HR Records & Position Management

• Leave Administration
• Compliance & Reporting
• Employee Relations Support
• Finance & Budget
• Payroll & Benefits Support

Our ideal candidate possesses the following capabilities.

• At least three years of HR professional experience with a municipality
• Experience with HRIS including Workday
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness; complete work in a timely manner
• Ability to gain knowledge of specific database programs, records management programs
• Plan and organize work to meet established deadlines
• Be able to problem solve and interpret information while working independently
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, victim advocates, secretarial staff, collateral agencies, and crime victims

Required Minimum Qualifications

·       Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

·       Experience Requirement: Two (2) years of professional human resources experience.

·       Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education.
