As a Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our Tax Services, focusing on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. You will help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. As a Senior Manager, you will leverage your skills and network to deliver quality results. You will motivate and coach others, coming together to solve complex problems. With increased autonomy, you will apply sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyze financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimizing risks of non-compliance. Within our Tax practice, you will have the opportunity to craft and convey clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story, apply systems thinking to identify underlying problems, and validate outcomes with clients. Responsibilities

- Leading tax compliance projects and guiding teams in strategic tax planning and execution
- Reviewing and analyzing financial data to prepare and file accurate tax returns
- Collaborating with clients to validate compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Utilizing advanced analytical skills to identify and address complex tax issues
- Developing and implementing innovative tax strategies to optimize client tax positions
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients to provide strategic tax advice
- Coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and performance
- Applying systems thinking to identify underlying tax-related problems and opportunities
- Directing teams through complex and ambiguous situations with composure
- Crafting and conveying clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story
- Initiating open and honest coaching conversations to foster team development
- Making informed decisions to resolve issues hindering team effectiveness
- Modeling and reinforcing professional and technical standards in tax compliance

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree in the following field of study: Accounting or Master's in Commerce
- At least 6 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- In Tax, Manager, Senior Manager, and Director roles prefer candidates who hold an active primary credential, such as one of the following: (1) US CPA or foreign equivalent (2) US Enrolled Agent in good standing with an appropriate regulatory body (3) a firm-approved secondary credential
