Description
Join a thriving, patient-focused private optometry practice serving the Manhattan area! We are seeking a dedicated, experienced Optometric Technician to float between our three office locations. If you are detail-oriented, passionate about patient care, and ready to grow with a collaborative team, this is the role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preliminary patient testing and gather patient medical history
- Assist optometrists with patient care, including visual acuity testing, lensometry, and pre-testing procedures
- Administer and document diagnostic tests (such as autorefractor, tonometer, retinal imaging, etc.)
- Educate patients on proper contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure cleanliness and readiness
- Accurately input data into electronic health records (EHR)
- Float between three practice locations as needed
- Provide excellent customer service and patient communication
Compensation:
- Hourly wage based on experience, starting from $22.00

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an optometric technician required
