Job Summary
LNA 7am -7pm -36hrs/wk$750 Sign on Bonus!
Salary Range: $19.47 -$31.09. Pay is based on experience.

Working under the direction of licensed personnel, assists patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating. Performs basic clinical tasks, including measuring and documenting vital signs, to support patient care and safety.

Essential Functions
Performs assigned patient care duties and clinical functions, including point-of-care testing, vital signs, EKGs, bathing and personal hygiene, patient transfers and ambulation, 1:1 patient observation for safety, and phlebotomy. Assists RNs and physicians with examinations and treatments as needed.
Accurately documents patient information in the Electronic Health Record (EHR), including height, weight, food and fluid intake, urine, stool, vomit, and other output, as well as blood glucose results.
Assists patients with meal tray setup, eating, and feeding as needed.
Ensures patient rooms are appropriately stocked, equipped, and cleaned based on patient needs and changing volumes.
Retrieves, sets up, and cleans equipment between patient uses. Reports malfunctioning equipment in accordance with organizational policies.
Assists with patient admissions and discharges.
Supports the orientation of new Patient Care Associate (PCA) team members as directed.
Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, visitors, and other members of the care team.
Communicates promptly and effectively with nursing staff regarding patient care concerns and changes in patient condition.
Promotes a positive, collaborative team environment that supports teamwork and professional growth.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Basic Life Support [BLS] - Preferred
Nursing Assistant [LNA - New Hampshire] - New Hampshire Board of Nursing Required
Experience
Experience working in patient care/elder care 0-1 year preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Strong patient/customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Proficient in computer skills to work efficiently with electronic medical records.
