We are looking for a skilled and motivated Informatics Leader to support the Federal Health Practice. This person will lead data and informatics efforts across the federal health space, working closely with leaders to identify risks, improve execution, and ensure data deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Federal Health Practice informatics strategy.
- Coordinate data and informatics efforts across business, clinical, operational, and technology teams.
- Build repeatable processes and support cross-functional collaboration.
- Oversee data analytics, information management, system optimization, and reporting programs.
- Ensure data quality, security, integrity, and compliance with regulations and privacy requirements.
- Provide leadership across TRICARE and federal healthcare data domains.
- Improve workflows and drive process improvement using data and informatics tools.
- Monitor project outcomes, business impact, financials, forecasts, and spend.
- Identify, document, and escalate risks and issues as needed.
- Support audits, onboarding, and compliance activities.
- Recruit, coach, and manage informatics staff and analysts.
- Bridges business, clinical, operational, and technology teams to ensure data is transformed into actionable insights, improves decision-making, and drives operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Experience with publicly funded health systems, especially federal health agencies.
- Hands-on experience with TRICARE and federal healthcare claims data, including repricing, encounter data, and large-scale data pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree required; master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in informatics, data analytics, or information management, including federal healthcare experience.
- 3–5+ years of leadership or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of data governance, analytics, databases, and enterprise systems.
- Experience managing large technology or data programs and handling PHI or national security-related data.
- Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid or remote role requiring strong self-management and virtual collaboration skills. Typical hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m EST.

Office-based teams will identify at least one “anchor day” per week on which their full team will be together in person.The applicable base salary range for this role is $115 200 to $230 400.The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
