48 hour minimum per 6 weeks

32 weekend minimum per quarter (3 months)

This position is scheduled and reports to the Corewell Health East Flex Office located at Corewell Health East Service Center.

Job Summary

The CT Technologist Flex A agrees to float within assigned hospitals throughout Corewell Health East. This position is scheduled and reports to the Corewell Health East Flex Office located at Beaumont Service Center. Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Technologists must demonstrate good clinical skills and provide the best possible images for interpretation while applying ALARA principles of radiation protection. Always follows Corewell Health East philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Qualifications

• • Required Associate's Degree Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
  • 1 year of relevant experience clinical experience. Must demonstrate proficiency through competency testing in CT technology essential duties eligible for floating Required
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Computed Tomography (CT) - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Excludes team members hired prior to 2008. 1 Year required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
