Document Preparation process description - The pre‑closing process of drafting and assembling loan documents based on approved credit terms, ensuring legal accuracy and completeness, and delivering finalized documents to enable execution and closing of the loan.
Role Responsibilities:
- Process drafting and assembling loan documents based on approved credit terms, ensuring legal accuracy and completeness, and delivering finalized documents to enable execution and closing of the loan.
- Communicating with business line partners when needed. Processing revisions to loan packets when change are necessary.
Competencies:
- Thorough knowledge of legal documents used to support applicable loan/lease processing.
- Ability to work with legal staff to solve complex documentation needs.
- Ability to apply critical thinking for all elements of loan documentation construction.
- Ability to master the bank's documentation software.
- Comprehensive knowledge of closing policies and procedures, funding policies, underwriting requirements, governmental and agency requirements, terminology and automated processing systems.
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable credit policies and approval processes for assigned products.
- Ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast paced, high production, professional environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Commercial loan documentation knowledge, strong attention to detail and accuracy, risk awareness and control discipline, process and procedure adherence, productivity and time management, system proficiency, communication and collaboration skills, coachable.
