Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver in Lancaster, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and personnel. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and document security-related activities while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Valid Driver's License

• All candidates must possess a valid Australian driver's license that complies with the relevant state or territory regulations.
• The driver's license must be current and not expired at the time of application.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a government facility by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas; report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify supervisors, emergency services, and/or designated site contacts as required.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence, observation, and timely reporting while following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
