Job Description:
This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry.

Position Summary:

The Global Operations and Shared Services Client Data platform architecture team is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to help modernize architecture practices through engineering, automation, artificial intelligence, and rapid proof-of-concept development. This role operates at the intersection of Architecture, Engineering, Data, and AI, building capabilities that accelerate solution design, improve developer productivity, and enable enterprise modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements
• Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements
• Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities
• Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements
• Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle
• Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause
• Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
• Develop architecture automation tools, accelerators, and reusable frameworks that improve engineering productivity
• Build AI-enabled solutions, copilots, and intelligent assistants that support architects and technology teams
• Rapidly prototype and engineer proof-of-concepts to evaluate emerging technologies and innovative solutions

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM discipline
• 2+ years of software engineering, application development, or platform engineering experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#
• Experience building AI-enabled applications, copilots, virtual assistants, or intelligent automation solutions
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and cloud-native application development (Azure preferred)
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to develop automation solutions, tools, and reusable engineering frameworks

Desired Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks
• Experience developing rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts to evaluate emerging technologies
