Department Description
The Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) business is a strategic priority for the firm as we look to evolve our product offering and capabilities to meet the changing needs of our clients. The Indexing and ETF platform allows us to better serve our clients by offering new capabilities and efficient access to existing capabilities. We have created a specialist team that will work closely with existing Fidelity distribution and operational teams. This is a rare opportunity to contribute to the development of a high-profile new business whilst having the resources and financial backing of a large, established asset manager.
Purpose of the Role
The role will be responsible for contributing and supporting the ongoing product delivery and management of Fidelity’s ETFs. The successful candidate will manage initiatives to support the growth of exchanged traded products across multiple asset classes.
Key Responsibilities
This role covers involvement at various stages of the product life-cycle including assessing the suitability of ETF structures for complex investment strategies, focusing on leading new product launches and supporting the management of existing products' life-cycle:
Lead ETF product delivery across the European platform, executing launches, repositionings, and strategic change initiatives to actively support the execution of FIL’s ETF growth plans.
Manage product approvals, prospectus changes, and related regulatory and governance processes.
Drive enhancements to ETF operating models and platforms, manage product and platform risks implementing effective mitigation strategies.
Serve as a SME for all ETF product and platform related aspects. Be able to very clearly articulate this knowledge to a broad audience, both internally and externally and coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to implement new products and platform changes.
Oversee the ETF range, ensuring alignment with business, regulatory, and technology developments.
Build and manage key relationships across product, legal, distribution, marketing, operations, investment, and external partners.
Knowledge of Morningstar, Bloomberg, and other market tools to support product development activities.
Experience and Qualifications Required
Established experience in ETF product development and/or product delivery/Implementation roles at asset management, consultants or associated financial service providers

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to build relationships across the business, operations and suppliers at all levels of management
Understanding of the European regulatory landscape including UCITS, MiFID, SFDR and associated requirements
Understanding of active and passive ETFs, different asset classes, investment strategies and wrappers.
Self-starter with a team player mindset
Strong written and verbal communication skills
