As a PwC Mexico Indirect Tax and Foreign Trade Director, you will provide strategic advice and guidance to clients on indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy, helping businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimize their tax positions. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. You will be instrumental in driving business growth, shaping client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders.

In this role at PwC, you will work within our Tax practice, focusing on value-added tax (VAT), goods and services tax (GST), sales tax, and other indirect taxes. You will be expected to uphold PwC's reputation for quality, integrity, and inclusion, fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together. Your role will involve developing new ideas, solutions, and structures, driving thought leadership, and promoting technological advances. You will identify gaps in the market and convert opportunities into success for the firm, all while adhering to professional and technical standards.

Responsibilities

- Leading strategic direction and business development efforts in indirect tax services
- Providing guidance on indirect tax planning, compliance, and strategy to optimize client tax positions
- Overseeing multiple projects and maintaining executive-level client relations
- Translating vision into actionable plans and inspiring teams to achieve business growth
- Mentoring and developing the next generation of leaders within the organization
- Cultivating potential in others and fostering a collaborative environment across the PwC Network
- Promoting technological advances and creating environments where people and technology thrive together
- Identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successful outcomes for the firm
- Adhering to and enforcing professional and technical standards, including PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements
- Driving thought leadership by developing new ideas, solutions, and structures in the field of indirect tax

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 10 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
