Journeyman HVAC Service Technician

Advanced Comfort Solutions, Inc. (ACSI) is looking for an experienced Journeyman HVAC Service Technician to join our growing Home Services team.

We're looking for a skilled, self-motivated technician who can confidently diagnose and repair both residential and commercial HVAC systems, provide exceptional customer service, and manage their daily workload independently.

What You'll Do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial HVAC systems
• Perform service and repair on furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, rooftop units, package units, split systems, and related HVAC equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control system issues
• Accurately identify the root cause of equipment failures and recommend appropriate repair solutions
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Clearly explain system issues, repair options, and recommendations to customers
• Provide professional and courteous customer service on every call
• Effectively manage your daily schedule and job responsibilities
• Communicate with customers, dispatch, and the office regarding job status, additional needs, and return visits
• Maintain accurate job notes, documentation, and required paperwork
• Properly identify parts and materials needed to complete repairs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
• Participate in the company's rotating on-call schedule, including after-hours and weekend coverage
• Follow company safety, service, and quality standards

What We're Looking For

• Current Journeyman HVAC license or the ability to obtain a Journeyman license
• Strong residential and commercial HVAC troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Proven ability to perform quality HVAC repairs
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical components, refrigeration, and controls
• Experience servicing a variety of residential and commercial equipment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
• Strong organizational and job-management skills
• Dependable, professional, and accountable
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• Willingness to participate in a rotating on-call schedule

Requirements

Company Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid and clear driver's license for past 5 years
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and background check

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• Rotating Weekends
• On-Call Rotation
• Overtime
