Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Bag Inspection in Rialto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and shipments in accordance with site procedures. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, drivers, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and vehicles in accordance with site procedures, documenting findings and reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor entry and exit points, shipping and receiving areas, and controlled-access locations to help deter unauthorized access and loss-related activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, trailer yards, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, reporting hazards, damaged equipment, or unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
