Job Description:

A Process Design Consultant on the Global Operations Process Ownership & OpEx team will act as a Process Engineer supporting Operations organizations. This role is responsible for enabling process excellence, mitigating risk, and driving continuous improvement across Global Operations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Enable Process Owners & Partners: Deliver training, coaching, and routines to equip Process Owners with tools and knowledge to succeed.
  • Mitigate Risk: Promote continuous improvement and simplification; ensure processes are properly scoped and include effective risk indicators.
  • Provide Oversight: Ensure processes are documented, mapped, and compliant with enterprise standards.
  • Drive Process Maturity: Offer thought leadership and end-to-end process expertise to deliver transformative results.
  • Facilitate Solutions: Address issues and risks, optimize efficiency, reduce variability, and improve controls and sustainability.
  • Collaborate with Business Partners: Gather insights to design and implement solutions for critical challenges and Enterprise / GO deliverables
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to apply process engineering best practices and leverage AI/LLMs to establish and implement a model for continuous improvement
  • Leverage Analytics: Use data and critical thinking to solve complex problems and define business case benefits.

**Candidates should be prepared to present examples of their process design and improvement work during interviews

    Required Skills:

    • Proven process reengineering, improvement, and design experience with a track record of delivering quantifiable business results.
    • Critical thinker and intellectually curious – relies on facts and data, asks tough questions, probes for root cause understanding, connects strategic and tactical dots, and challenges the status quo.
    • Takes initiative to identify, proactively initiate, and facilitate process improvement opportunities.
    • Ability to leverage data to tell a compelling story and deliver impactful executive communications.
    • Detail-oriented and committed to excellence in meetings, presentations, documents, and work output. Practices continuous improvement daily.
    • Collaborative team player who promotes a positive culture.
    • Strong influencer and communicator – effectively drives change, identifies opportunities, solves problems, and delivers results.
    • Ability to “manage the gray” and navigate successfully through ambiguity
    • Flexible with changing priorities and work assignments
    • Experience coaching/mentoring all levels on process improvement efforts

    Desired Skills:

    • Global Ops Process Management Certification or Six Sigma Green / Black / Master Black Belt (or equivalent)
    • Operations background / knowledge of the Single Process Inventory
    • Risk management expertise and familiarity with enhancing the process control environment
    • Excellent project and program management skills with the ability to organize and simplify complex work activities.
    • Familiarity with multi-team processes
