CDL-A Local Intermodal Truck Driver – $75K + $10K Bonus | Home Daily

Join a dedicated local intermodal position based in Mount Pleasant, WI. Earn competitive pay plus a $10,000 bonus while running consistent Chicago rail yard routes with no-touch freight, weekday scheduling, and daily home time.

Pay Details

$75,000.00 per year

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,500
• $10,000 Bonus
• Starting pay at $0.48 CPM, with $0.01 CPM annual increases up to $0.55 CPM
• All hub miles paid, both loaded and empty
• $65 per live load and $40 per customer drop & hook
• $25 extra per Hazmat load and $30 extra per refrigerated load
• $15 for empty moves and $23-$55 for crosstown drops
• Rail delay and detention pay available
• Ramp-specific training paid at $250/day

Job Details

• Dedicated local intermodal account operating throughout Illinois and Wisconsin
• Average approximately 1,500 miles per week
• 100% no-touch freight
• Daily runs to Chicago rail yards
• Approximately 80% drop-and-hook / 20% live load
• Opportunity to transfer to a preferred shift after approximately 6 months
• Slip-seat position; tractors must remain at the yard during time off
• No smoking inside trucks
• Complete orientation online

Shift Details

• Monday-Friday schedule
• Start time around 4:00 PM
• Holiday pay available after 90 days
• Thanksgiving and Christmas time off not guaranteed
• PTO begins accruing on the first day
• 18 paid days off in the first year, increasing with tenure

Job Requirements

• Valid Class A driver's license
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Clean driving record
• No SAP drivers
• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days; reimbursement available if obtained after hire
