Description:

We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Engineer with strong background in Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) to manage, configure, and support Kubernetes infrastructure in a dynamic, high-availability environment. The Engineer collaborates with Development, DevOps and other technology teams to ensure that the Kubernetes platform ecosystem is reliable, scalable and efficient.

The ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience in Kubernetes clusters operations management, and container orchestration, along with strong problem-solving skills. Experience in infrastructure platform management is required.

We will count on you to:

  • Provide hands-on operational support for Kubernetes clusters and associated platform services.

  • Manage and resolve incidents, service requests and changes through shared operational queues.

  • Troubleshoot Kubernetes platform issues and perform cluster maintenance, upgrades and configuration changes.

  • Support container technologies, certificate management and platform monitoring.

  • Collaborate with application, DevOps, security and infrastructure teams to resolve technical issues.

  • Maintain clear documentation of configurations, changes and operational procedures.

  • Contribute to the reliability, security and continuous improvement of the Kubernetes platform.

What you need to have?

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in data center operations, systems engineering or a similar hands‑on infrastructure role.

  • Intermediate to advanced networking knowledge, with practical experience troubleshooting switch/router behaviour, VLANs, subnetting, routing, SAN networking and basic load balancing.

  • Intermediate to advanced infrastructure and cloud experience: hands‑on familiarity with server and storage platforms, virtualization technologies and cloud platforms.

  • Foundational security awareness : understanding of basic security controls relevant to data centre operations and media handling.

  • Practical experience with server and storage installation, racking, cabling and hardware lifecycle procedures.

What makes you stand out?

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

  • Scripting or automation experience using Bash, Python or Go.

  • Experience with Kubernetes security concepts, including RBAC, network policies and secrets management.

  • Experience with centralised logging solutions such as Fluentd, Logstash, Loki or equivalent tools.

  • Understanding of CI/CD environments and tools such as Jenkins or GitLab. While CI/CD pipeline ownership is outside the scope of this position, familiarity with how pipelines interact with Kubernetes environments is valuable.

  • Experience supporting Kubernetes platforms in large-scale, global or hybrid-cloud environments.

  • Kubernetes certifications such as CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or equivalent practical knowledge.

  • Strong documentation skills and experience working within structured incident, problem and change-management processes.

Why join our team?
