Description
We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to join us at Telia.
I’m Vaiva Striužė and I am leading SOM & Activation Run and Grow team at Telia’s IT Fulfilment division. I’m searching for someone ready to grow with us.
We’re a team focused on development, delivery, maintenance, and operations of the Common Service Order Management (SOM) & Activation (EDA). These solutions keep track of our network and orchestrates order provisioning for mobile and fixed services across Finland, Sweden, Lithuania.
SOM & EDA are strategic platforms for the entire Telia Group, and we’re currently on a transformation journey to strengthen our global footprint while continuously evolving and ensuring top quality.
What you’ll do:
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments
Maintain the Ericsson Catalogue manager, Order Care & dynamic activation systems
Deploy applications and implement configuration changes to support new releases
Analyze system/processes and initiate necessary improvements and changes
Handle incidents, changes, and tickets
Participate in on-call duties
Maintain the knowledge base
Automate tasks to improve efficiency
Set up, maintain, and enhance monitoring tools
Configure and improve CI/CD pipelines
Optimize system performance, resource utilization, and application responsiveness
Collaborate with other teams and solve complex issues
What will help you thrive in this role:
Being an IT professional who has done a few years within infrastructure and (or) applications
Knowledge of SQL databases (including data manipulation via SQL)
A degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience in IT
Familiarity with Git version control system for collaborative development
Ability to stay organized and work in a structured manner
and work in a structured mannerAdaptability, persistence, and a proactive attitude
Fluency in English
We would also consider it as an advantage if you’re familiar or have experience with:
Kubernetes
Building pipelines (CI/CD)
Scripting/programming skills
Working in a multicultural enterprise environment or having knowledge of the Telecommunication industry (BSS & OSS)

Monthly salary range for this position - 3000-5000 Eur (gross) + annual performance bonuses. Although it may vary depending on your skills and experience.
