- 2 full weeks of paid training (Monday–Friday) REQUIRED
Position Overview:
Our Medical Assistants are responsible for providing excellent patient care and creating positive patient experiences. This role supports daily clinic and lab operations while working closely with providers, patients, and the clinic team. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable with patient interaction, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
- Part-time position, up to 20 hours weekly
- Must be flexible with clinic hours, occasional weekends, and late hours as needed
- Required availability: Monday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Tuesday 8:00 AM–7:00 PM, Wednesday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM, Thursday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, and up to 3 Saturdays per month from 8:00 AM–12:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual vitals
- Perform routine blood draws
- Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections per provider direction
- Maintain lab equipment, documentation of lab results, and quality controls
- Run in-house labs or prepare labs for processing at outside facilities with proper orders
- Complete weekly inventory, ordering, and team communication
- Assist with front desk duties as needed
- Provide excellent patient care with a positive and professional attitude
Requirements/Certifications:
- Physical proof of High School Diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred
- Minimum of 3 months of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant or Phlebotomist in a medical setting OR documented completion of 180 extern hours
- Ability to perform venipuncture and intramuscular/subcutaneous injections preferred
- Must pass a criminal background check
