Are you the kind of person that can take a big idea and bring it to life? Do you enjoy leading others to accomplish real change? Are you ready to utilize your inquisitive mindset to truly build something new? If so, then the Product Owner II position might be for you.

At Frost, it’s about more than a job. It’s about having a flourishing career where you can thrive, both in and out of work. At Frost, we’re committed to fostering an environment that reflects our values and encourages team members to be the best they can be. In joining our adaptable, integrity-driven team, you’ll become part of Frost’s over 150-year legacy of providing unparalleled banking services.

Who you are:

As a Product Owner II, you are responsible for engaging and collaborating with one or more teams for a complex product area to implement Frost’s vision of products and services that are elegant, secure, and improve people’s financial lives. You will use your innovative mindset, effective communication skills and desire to do better by constantly creating and improving the Frost user experience. Most importantly, this role is about providing top-quality service and doing it with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with one or more teams to deliver world-class products and services. Ensure that projects align with Frost’s vision to deliver elegant, useful, and secure technology

  • Assist in the creation of long-term product strategies to implement the product plan in adherence to Frost Executive direction

  • Effectively communicate a project’s impact to the quadruple bottom line, priority, development approach, and release plan to the internal and external stakeholders

  • Establish relationships and partner with customers, users, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to learn and research the product space, including how current products and services work and how to leverage new approaches and technologies

  • Develop solution descriptions and acceptance criteria for team use. Communicate business needs and the overarching vision for the business solution to IT support teams

  • Monitor the status of pending projects to ensure that the team remains focused on building relevant products with reliable architecture at an appropriate speed. As needed, adapt projects to maximize total value

  • Write acceptance criteria and requirements for moderately complex projects while deciding which projects are feasible and provide business value. Estimate project size and establish a clear minimum viable product (MVP)

  • Establish one or more product backlogs that flow work to multiple implementation teams to maximize joint value

  • Document current and proposed processes. Analyze the impacts of integrating proposed process changes with current processes across different products and functions

  • Ensure that all new features and programs meet business and system requirements. Effectively monitor key performance indicators to establish project success

  • Evaluate potential process and system improvements to identify and prioritize future projects. Redesign current operational processes to utilize new technology and resources in a more efficient manner

  • Mentor junior Product Owners within the same product portfolio.

  • Always take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, customer experience management, business analysis, software engineering, banking, finance, or a related field

  • Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills

  • Proactive, entrepreneurial, and collaborative mindset

  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Additional Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with digital technologies, including desktop and mobile

  • Experience in the banking and/or financial services industries

  • Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban

Our Benefits:

  • Medical, dental, vision, long-term disability, and life insurance

  • 401(k) matching

  • Generous holiday and paid time off schedule

  • Referral bonus program + more!
