Job Description

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

This role is to support the Commercial Banking business through strategic project delivery, process transformation, management and regulatory reporting and data analytics.

This role partners closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver business initiatives, ensure timely and accurate regulatory and management reporting, drive process improvement and automation and improve operational efficiency across the Commercial Banking business.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Projects:

  • Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives across Commercial Banking
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery from business requirements gathering through implementation and post-go-live stabilization.
  • Prepare business cases, project proposals, project and management updates
  • Manage project plans, milestones, risks, issues and stakeholder communication.

Business Analysis and Management

  • Engagement of stakeholders to understand requirements and pain points
  • Conduct process reviews, fit-gap analysis and impact assessments
  • Translate business requirements and develop Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and development of Target Operating Models (TOM)
  • Support UAT planning, testing and implementation activities

Management Information, Regulatory Reporting & Analytics

  • Develop, enhance and automate reports, dashboards and analytical models across customer, portfolio and productivity data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Support recurring management and regulatory reports with high standards of accuracy, completeness and timeliness.
  • Performd data validation, reconciliation and quality assurance across multiple systems and data sources.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or an equivalent professional certification
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience across business management, project management, business analytics, data analytics, business finance.
  • Experience within the Commercial Banking, Corporate Banking spaces preferred
  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft product Suite skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft CoPilot and approved GenAI tools, including prompt engineering techniques
  • Strong data analytics skills (e.g. SQL, Python, Qlik, PowerBI)
  • Experienced communicating with functional and technical stakeholders.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
