At APM Terminals, a global leader in port and terminal operations, we enable global trade and drive sustainable growth. What drives us forward is a mindset of always improving—observing how work happens, identifying what creates value, and removing what gets in the way. We constantly look for smarter, simpler, and safer ways of operating. If you thrive in environments where people value learning and are committed to continuously improving daily operations, join us and be a part of our journey.
About the Role
The West Med portfolio is one of APM Terminals' most strategically important regions, comprising APM Terminals Algeciras (Spain), APM Terminals Tangier, and APM Terminals MedPort Tangier (Morocco). Together, these terminals serve as a critical transshipment hub connecting Europe, Africa, and Asia while supporting the Maersk Ocean network and the Group's global Integrator Strategy.
Join us and be part of a team that values excellence, collaboration, and innovation and has a mindset of continuous improvement and value creation.
About the role
As Head of Finance – West Med, you will provide strategic financial leadership across the portfolio while acting as a trusted business partner to the Head of West Med, Head of Hubs, and terminal leadership teams. You will play a key role in driving financial performance, supporting strategic investment decisions, strengthening governance, and developing a high-performing finance organisation that delivers sustainable value creation.
About the team
The West Med Finance team plays a critical role in providing strategic, business and finance business partnering and functional leadership for the Spanish and Moroccan terminals within the Hubs region.
The team is responsible for driving finance excellence, performance management, decision support, and continuous improvement, supporting both the Hubs strategy and Maersk Ocean segment objectives.
A strong culture of ownership, accountability, and collaboration underpins the Hubs Finance team's ability to consistently deliver high-quality outcomes and business value.
