With several locations across MS, AL, LA, FL, and TX, LMC performs service and repairs, both on-site and in the field, in addition to the sales, leases and rentals of heavy and compact equipment.

Essential Job Functions:
· Responsible for the financial performance of the department and achievement of desired metrics, including profitable sales growth, disciplined expense control and targeted net return on sales. Also accountable for the evaluation and reshaping of departmental processes to improve efficiency.
· Assists at parts counter as needed to support customer sales.
· Responsible for recruiting, hiring and retaining talented employees and effectively developing department personnel. Provides consistent and clear direction for subordinates. Sets a positive example for all employees by following and enforcing company policy.
· Responsible for creating customer friendly retail environment within the parts department, which includes promotional marketing, merchandising of showroom, and reinforcing excellent customer service skills among direct reports. Executes follow up process on all invoices over $2,500.00.
· Demonstrates a genuine concern for Lyle Machinery as a whole. Exhibits outstanding communication skills, cooperates and works seamlessly with other departments and locations within Lyle Machinery. Promotes teamwork, maintains a positive attitude, and supports the concept of one face to our customers.
· Collaborates with inventory control manager to ensure proper on-hand parts inventory to meet customer demand while achieving desired inventory performance standards. Conducts annual physical inventory and facilitates perpetual inventory process of all parts and related inventories. Oversees ongoing inventory processes to ensure proper inventory control.
· Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
• Previous Heavy or Agriculture equipment dealership experience preferred but not required
• Previous Parts Department experience preferred
• Prior management experience preferred
• Ability to effectively communicate individually and in a group setting with customers and employees
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when required
• Excellent customer service skills
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, Associates or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
Physical:
· Ability to see in full range color
· Ability to kneel, climb, bend, twist, lift and squat to service equipment
· Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs
· Must be able to work in any weather environment
· Must be able to safely operate in, around, under and on top of equipment
