Description
๐ Tasks and responsibilities
For this assignment, a testing team is being expanded to support SAT activities across business-as-usual changes, satellite applications and project-related evolutions.
The team is responsible for planning and executing the SAT test scope. In addition, it provides input for the setup of test automation scripts and supports broader testing activities by carrying out first-line analysis of incoming defects linked to major releases.
Testing is performed mainly in a waterfall context, while agile ways of working are also applied and will gradually gain importance. The focus of this role is on manual and functional testing, supported by a semi-automated tool for sanity and regression test execution.
- Prepare, execute and follow up sanity, regression and functional test scenarios.
- Log, analyse and monitor defects during the test cycle.
- Provide first-line support for defects identified during major releases.
- Support testing activities for DGO and market parties when requested.
- Contribute to ad hoc testing requests from analysts.
- Work across service domains such as message exchange, batch treatment and infrastructure-related changes.
- Collaborate with analysts and external stakeholders in the language of the end user.
- Contribute input for the setup of automated test scripts, without being responsible for pure automation execution.
The scope excludes security testing, failover testing, purely technical testing and BI-related activities.
