Summary of Job Duties:
The Associate Program Manager provides project management, daily operational support, and executive-level calendar management, for the Arkansas Center for Women and Infant’s Health (ACWIH) and the Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Working in conjunction with more senior Program Managers, the Associate Program Manager coordinates activities across the department and Center’s portfolio of grant- and contract-funded programs, developing and maintaining project plans, tracking timelines and deliverables, and following up with team members and partners to keep work moving forward for the growing ACWIH.

- Baccalaureate Degree, major in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, Communications, or related field
- 2 years of project management, program coordination, or executive/administrative support experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree, major in Public Health, Business or Health Administration, or related field

Job Requirements:
- Develops materials, resources and activities to support the Department faculty and Department programs and projects.
- Maintains financial records and monitors expenditures and accuracy of transactions. Provides status reports on departmental accounts as required.
- Performs general office management functions, including ordering supplies, maintaining inventories of assets, requesting services and equipment maintenance and repairs, and completing purchasing requisitions.
- In addition, this position supports the daily operations of the department and Center, including meeting and event coordination, travel and purchasing processes, document preparation, and communication among staff, University departments, and external stakeholders.
- This position serves as a central point of coordination for department leadership, managing complex calendars and correspondence and ensuring leadership time is aligned with organizational priorities. The Associate Program Manager must exercise a high degree of independent judgment, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information and competing priorities.
