What You'll Be Doing:
Configure and support virtual environments including AWS and VMware
Maintain various operating systems for a variety of users and activities
Apply cybersecurity knowledge to configure IT equipment to proper security standards
Install, troubleshoot, and manage applications, systems, and networks
Test systems and resolve security vulnerabilities
Participate in the government's Risk Management Framework (RMF) to maintain system accreditation
Monitor product performance, conduct capacity planning, and fine-tune system performance
Respond promptly to emergencies, troubleshoot faults, and implement improvements
Interact with and assist customers from various parts of USCYBERCOM
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
10+ years of overall IT experience, including Windows System Administration (Active Directory, GPO, etc.), with at least 5 years AWS cloud experience
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in IT, Cybersecurity, or related discipline
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Active DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification or higher (ex: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP)
Strong system troubleshooting and debugging skills
Ability to work on-site 50% of the time
Microsoft Windows Server/desktop Administration, including: Active Directory Forests/Domains, Managing/Configuring services, DNS/DHCP, User/Group Policy creation, configuration, troubleshooting, Server/Desktop deployment methods, Gold disk image development, management, deployment, troubleshooting, Building and configuring servers based on requirements
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Experience designing, managing, and deploying AWS services, including but not limited to EC2 (including Security Groups and Load Balancers), S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch, utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
Experience using the AWS CLI, PowerShell, and/or Python to identify and resolve issues in an AWS environment
Experience using Microsoft Azure environment.
Experience building systems from the ground up – network architecture/systems engineering
Any applicable certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) 2012/2016
Exposure to STIGs/IAVA
Experience with Linux Operating Systems (Oracle/RHEL)
Networking (TCP/IP)
Firewall ACLs
