Our Team Leaders here at Change Grow Live play an integral role in ensuring an effective service provision for our service users by creating a focused culture, engaging staff to provide an innovative and continually improving service and provide leadership, support, and development to a wide range of staff.
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our Nottinghamshire Service. As part of our co-occurring mental health and substance use team, you will work flexibly and creatively to ensure what is needed to have the most positive impact for all who are referred to our service.

Responsibilities
About the role:
- Lead and motivate a team of recovery co-ordinators across Nottinghamshire county
- Provide effective operational leadership, including supervision, performance management, recruitment, induction and staff development.
- Ensure high-quality, person-centred support that promotes independence, positive outcomes and effective risk management to people experiencing multiple unmet needs.
- Develop strong referral pathways and partnerships with mental health hospital and community settings and provide specialist consultation and guidance to partner agencies.
- Monitor service performance, maintain accurate records and drive continuous improvement in line with programme objectives.
- Undertake case holding where required.
- Provide specialist consultation and guidance to internal colleagues and partner agencies regarding co-occurring mental health and substance use needs.
About you:
- Experience of leading and developing teams within mental health, health, social care, substance use or related services.
- Knowledge of delivering high-quality, outcome-focused services and managing performance effectively.
- Good understanding of substance misuse, recovery and the challenges faced by people with complex needs, including homelessness.
- Excellent knowledge of Adult and Children safeguarding policies and practices and experience of embedding these operationally.
- Experience of working collaboratively with local authorities, health and commissioning
- Knowledge of mental health pathways and legislations
- Knowledge of severe multiple disadvantages, trauma informed practice and psycholigically informed environments
- Strong leadership, communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and support others.
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of local mental health pathways, drug and alcohol systems and housing services would be desirable.
