Job Description:
This job is responsible for the coordinating and operating technology platforms, including providing business support for incident management, executing rules and configuration updates, delivering tactical/strategic changes, while leveraging subject-matter expertise. Key responsibilities include leading a cross-functional team to ensure platform delivery of priorities align with business objectives. Job expectations include communicating to influence both vertically and horizontally to deliver the product in coordination with technology, including scrum teams aligned with AGILE development.
Team Specific Job Description:
The TPAS Business Application Owner (BAO) Manager is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the performance, configuration, and evolution of the TPAS application supporting Technology Financial processes. This role serves as the product owner for TPAS, driving functional stability, user adoption, and system enhancements, while ensuring strong integration with Business Process Owners across both base and initiative workflows.
The BAO Manager is accountable for aligning application capabilities with business requirements, leading change management, and ensuring the system delivers reliable, controlled, and scalable outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Initiates and provides leadership, resource/strategic/tactical direction, and project roadmaps to meet current and anticipated business requirements and objectives
- Provides consistent oversight, management, and adherence to governance standards, regulatory impacts, platform access, and platform stability
- Works in partnership with Technology leveraging AGILE Methodology for development and testing and change management delivery
- Serves as a liaison between stakeholders, project teams, technology, and Legal/Risk/Compliance/Control partners to ensure adherence to regulations and laws
- Coordinates with the line of business to resolve gaps in requirements, while also ensuring Business Readiness in association with the Academy (Procedures, Education, etc.)
- Own overall TPAS application performance, behavior, and functional integrity
- Serve as product owner, managing and prioritizing the TPAS backlog across multiple processes
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure release readiness for all TPAS enhancements
- Develop and execute training, communication, and adoption strategies to drive end-user engagement
- Own delivery of reconciliation capabilities within TPAS, including reporting and automation
Required Qualifications:
- Strong Experience with finance systems, application/product ownership, or business systems management
- Experience with Alteryx workflows, automation tools, or data transformation pipelines
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and change management efforts
- Deep understanding of financial controls, reconciliations, and data integrity principles
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience managing backlogs, UAT cycles, and system releases
- Experience with TPAS or similar financial planning / reconciliation platforms
- Background in SOX-controlled environments or audit-focused processes
