Key Responsibilities
Standardization & Metrics Leadership
- Drive alignment and standardization of Best-Known Methods (BKMs) across multiple fabrication sites.
- Develop and maintain metrics to measure BKM standardization, sustainability, scalability, synchronization, and adoption.
- Identify program gaps and implement SMART metrics to improve program effectiveness and execution efficiency.
- Standardize critical metric definitions and governance across the organization.
- Monitor performance trends and drive actions to achieve business objectives.
Yield Transformation & Operational Excellence
- Transform Yield SEAL and SWAT programs to maximize network resource leverage, knowledge sharing, and talent utilization.
- Drive productivity improvements by eliminating inefficiencies through process optimization, automation, and digital solutions.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams to develop yield reporting strategies and business processes with clear ownership and accountability.
- Optimize systems and workflows to improve execution, visibility, and decision-making.
AI & Digital Transformation
- Lead AI transformation initiatives to modernize engineering workflows and operational decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Generative AI, and advanced analytics to accelerate yield learning and problem solving.
- Develop AI-enabled business processes that improve data quality, insight generation, forecasting accuracy, and engineering productivity.
- Partner with Digital Transformation, Data Science, and Engineering teams to deploy scalable AI solutions across the manufacturing network.
- Promote data-driven culture through automation, self-service analytics, visualization, and intelligent decision-support systems.
Change Management & Leadership
- Implement organizational change management methodologies to accelerate adoption and maximize program return on investment (ROI).
- Influence stakeholders across functions and sites through indirect leadership and effective communication.
- Exercise strong judgment and adaptability to drive alignment and successful implementation of change initiatives.
- Foster a performance-driven culture through coaching, accountability, clear communication, and constructive feedback.
- Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, teamwork, and trust throughout the organization.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
- Build strong partnerships with FECOS, Fab Operations, FE PMO, PROCT, Global Quality, Supply Chain, DTG, and other partner organizations.
- Manage worldwide meeting structures to ensure efficient, effective, and outcome-oriented discussions.
- Maintain strong relationships with global peers and leadership teams.
- Travel to Micron sites as required to support collaboration and strategic initiatives.
Safety
- Proactively promote and support corporate and site safety programs and practices.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of engineering experience.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate globally and influence through indirect leadership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex situations and drive clarity.
- Proven track record of performance excellence and leadership effectiveness.
- Experience driving solutions across multiple functional teams and organizations.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Travel to Micron sites as necessary for face to face collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, process integration, yield engineering, technology development, or manufacturing operations.
- Experience with metrics development, program management, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Proficiency in data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent tools.
- Experience with automation technologies such as UiPath, Power Automate, Python, SQL, or other digital transformation tools.
- Knowledge of change management methodologies and organizational transformation frameworks.
- Experience leading cross-site standardization programs.
AI Transformation Experience (Preferred)
- Experience applying AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI, or Advanced Analytics in engineering, manufacturing, or business environments.
- Familiarity with AI platforms, prompt engineering, Copilot technologies, digital assistants, or data science workflows.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and scale AI-driven productivity and business value solutions.
- Passion for driving AI adoption and transforming engineering processes through intelligent automation and data-driven insights.
