As a (Senior) Assistant Failure Analysis on our Manufacturing and Operations team, find yourself in a high-tech world where silicon wafers evolve into cutting-edge products. Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Independently performing physical  analyses  for internal customers from Manufacturing as well as Research & Development Operating optical microscopes , scanning electron microscopes ( SEM ), and Focused Ion Beam ( FIB ) systems Preparing  samples  using mechanical, dry-chemical, and wet-chemical processes, as well as other sample preparation techniques Preparing  and documenting  analysis  reports  for customers and stakeholders Participating  in departmental development  projects , knowledge-sharing meetings, and contributing to internal method development initiatives This position operates in a continuous shift system with 8-hour shifts, following a 6-on/4-off rotation pattern: employees work six consecutive days (two morning shifts, two late shifts, and two night shifts) followed by four consecutive days off. Qualifications and skills to help you succeed  A completed vocational  qualification  in a relevant field such as Microtechnology , Physical-Technical Assistance (PTA), or qualification as a state-certified technician in any technical discipline Ideally 1-3 years of laboratory  experience  in a relevant environment, combined with a strong technical aptitude and understanding Solid proficiency in Microsoft  Office  applications Very good written and verbal communication skills in both German and English  are mandatory #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
