Physical Therapist (PT)

AvaMed Workforce is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join a Medical Facility in Delano, CA.

Responsibilities

• Assess function: Test balance, strength, and range of motion.

• Review medical history: Read doctor notes and surgical reports.

• Set goals: Build customized short-term and long-term care plans.

• Track progress: Monitor improvement and adjust care plans as needed. 

• Gait and balance training: Teach safe walking skills and posture.

• Assistive devices: Train residents to use walkers, canes, or wheelchairs.

• Strength building: Lead exercises to restore muscle mass after illness or stroke.

• Pain management: Apply stretches, manual therapy, or modalities to ease joint and muscle discomfort.

Qualifications

• Active California PT license

• Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience preferred — new graduates encouraged to apply

• Reliable, professional, and patient-centered approach 

Compensation & Benefits

• $65/hr-$70/hr (travel rate available)
• Weekly pay
