The Quality Engineering Intern supports the Quality Engineering team in maintaining product quality, meeting customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Working alongside Quality Engineers, the intern will assist with data analysis, documentation, problem-solving, and quality-related projects while gaining hands-on experience with quality systems and manufacturing processes.

Qualified candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Office, have a basic understanding of engineering principles, and demonstrate strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adaptable, and shows initiative and leadership potential.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Enrolled in an accredited institution and actively working toward a Bachelor’s degree in a business or engineering discipline is preferred

Experience: No experience required. However, relevant coursework, academic projects, or prior internships related to construction or project management will be advantageous.

Travel: 10-25%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality & Compliance:

  • Support the quality team in ensuring products meet customer requirements, industry standards, and company expectations. Assist with reviewing work instructions, maintaining quality documentation, participating in audits, and supporting corrective action activities.

Customer Support:

  • Help respond to customer quality inquiries, gather information for investigations, track quality metrics, and assist with documentation related to customer concerns and requests.

Manufacturing Support:

  • Assist with maintaining quality plans, reviewing customer specifications, supporting training activities, and helping ensure manufacturing processes follow established quality requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Support data collection and analysis related to quality performance, assist with non-conforming material investigations, identify trends, and participate in projects focused on improving product quality and reducing defects.
