The OpportunityAs a GIS Technical Architect, Manager, you will engage with clients to optimize operational efficiency through business application consulting. You will analyze client needs, implement software solutions, and provide training and support for seamless integration and utilization of business applications, enabling clients to achieve their strategic objectives. Within our Business & Supply Chain Operations practice, you will focus on utilizing Esri's software suite, such as ArcGIS, to manage and visualize geographic data across various fields including urban planning, environmental management, and transportation.
As a Manager, you will enhance your leadership style by motivating, developing, and inspiring others to deliver quality. You are responsible for coaching, leveraging team members' unique strengths, and managing performance to meet client expectations. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. In this role at PwC, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will also address conflicts or issues, engaging in difficult conversations with clients, team members, and other stakeholders, while upholding professional and technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Leading the design and implementation of Geographic Information System (GIS) architecture solutions using Esri Mapping Software
- Analyzing client needs to optimize operational efficiency through business application consulting
- Managing project planning, budgeting, execution, and completion to meet client objectives
- Coaching and mentoring team members to leverage their strengths and deliver quality outcomes
- Utilizing analytical thinking to identify system interactions and linkages for improved integration
- Developing and deploying GIS applications for urban planning, environmental management, and transportation projects
- Encouraging innovation and embracing change to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction
- Engaging in strategic questioning to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement
- Addressing conflicts and facilitating difficult conversations with stakeholders to maintain professional standards
- Upholding the firm's code of conduct and independence requirements while delivering client services
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for a Master's of Business Administration or PHD degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Geological Engineering, Geophysics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
- Utilizing Esri Mapping Software and Geographic Information System (GIS) Applications

The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
