School of Tech for the Arts, Media & Design – AL (AI Hybrid Cine & Prod Design)

[What the role is]

The School of Technology for the Arts, Media and Design (STA) provides vocational training in using next-generation technology to enhance and deliver creative expressions in disciplines such as arts and entertainment production management, user experience design, game and gamification design and development, digital content creation and production, graphic design, and audio production. The School is looking to add a dynamic individual to our collaborative team who is experienced in AI Hybrid Production, AI-enhanced Cinematography and Production Design.

[What you will be working on]

As Associate Lecturer you will:
1.    Deliver and assess curriculum for youth and adult learners via face-to-face and E-learning modes, in these areas:
a.    AI Hybrid Production, AI-enhanced Cinematography, Production Design and Workflow
b.    At least one foundational school discipline area (creativity, story writing and appreciation, photography, working in the creative  sector, or arts history)
2.    Supervise programme development activities as assigned such as portfolio development, competition training, and student projects
3.    Contribute to crafting of curriculum and training materials related to discipline and subject expertise 

[What we are looking for]

•    Relevant qualification and work experience preferably in the field of Media Production and AI Hybrid Production Workflow, applicable to Film Production and Immersive Media.
•    A minimum of four years of relevant industry experience preferably in a creative sector.
•    A strong sense of initiative, and the ability to work both independently and as a team-player in collaborative settings
•    The ability to manage projects and events whilst adhering to strict timelines, and conduct post implementation project reviews
•    Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present to large and small groups, and a sensitivity to the needs of people of diverse academic, socio-economic, and cultural backgrounds
•    A self-starter, agile learner, with a personal interest in coaching and mentoring others and managing stakeholder expectations
•    Strong analytical, administrative and digitalisation skills including accessing databases and IT-enabled automation

Additional Advantages: 

•    Teaching or professional training experience
•    Advance Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) certified 
•    Management experience
•    Experienced in the use of AI Tools with ability in Prompt Engineering, Generative AI processes, and compositing workflow  
•    Experienced in the use of software such as Unreal Engine, Adobe Creative Suite, and DaVinci Resolve
