Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer, testing to join our Quality Engineering team. This is an amazing opportunity to work on various Clarivate products and services which could include automation, performance, manual and security aspects of testing.  

About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments:  

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or master’s degree (BE, ME, B Tech, MTech, MCA, MS)  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software automation and test frameworks 
• Good programming skills in language like Java. Strong coding & debugging skills in Selenium binding with Python, Playwright with Python.
• Experience in version control system Git or bitbucket. 
• Understanding of test automation frameworks & assisting/reviewing script creation  
• Familiarity of testing pyramid, understanding of functional and non-functional aspects of testing 
• Familiarity and clear understanding of Agile & Kanban development approaches 
• Familiarity of working with test and defect management tools like JIRA and confluence 

It would be great if you also have… 

• Working familiarity with cloud tools like AWS 
• Strong experience of performance engineering including hands on with at least one tool (Netload, JMeter or LoadRunner) along with very good understanding of browser-side performance testing tools and analyzing skills, understanding on any one of these: Jenkins, TeamCity and Azure DevOps

• Prioritizing individual & team’s workload  

About the team:

The existing team is spread across India and includes Testers with strong technical and analytical skills. We have a great skill set in Java, Selenium, Python, C#, HTML5, Web API, SQL and JavaScript, to name a few of the Tools and technologies. You would be part of large QA Group responsible for delivering world class products and innovative solutions in the field of IP

Hours of Work 

This is permanent position with Clarivate. You will be working in IST time zone. 9 hours of work per day including 1-hour lunch break. We have hybrid work model, flexible and employee friendly work environment
