This includes activities such as employee onboarding, offboarding, payroll and benefits administration, absence management, employee record-keeping, compliance with labour laws and regulations, and managing employee inquiries and issues. These individuals enable HR processes and systems to run smoothly in order to efficiently support our workforce.Those in human resource operations at PwC will focus on all areas of Human Resources and the business in executing Human Resources related transactions and administrative activities. You will be a primary HR point of contact in the resolution, escalation or routing of inquiries as needed in line with HR protocols and guidelines, as well as be part of a team of problem solvers that help solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

About PwC SATIC and the role
PwC’s South Africa Technology & Innovation Centre (SATIC) is a hub for technological advancement and innovative solutions. The Source to pay Officer forms part of the Business Services Procurement delivery model, supporting the PwC UK Procurement team forms part of the Business Services / Procurement delivery model supporting the PwC UK Procurement team. The team operates within the Finance function in the Business Solutions line of service and supports sourcing, contracting, due diligence, risk management, supplier onboarding, contract administration and Source to Pay operations
Summary:
The Source to Pay Officer supports buying requests, creation and management of purchase orders, contract administration, contract housekeeping and contract expiry chasing. The provides opportunity for growth and development within the Procurement function, including exposure to the wider contracting process. The role will coordinate S2P activity in line with established processes and procedures under the guidance of UK-based Managers and Senior Managers.
Qualifications / Certifications required:
Diploma or Degree in Procurement and Purchasing Management or Supply Chain Management or Accounting or Finance
Experience required:
Administrative, purchasing, procurement or buying experience or exposure.
Experience or interest in operating within a procurement function in a corporate structure.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Experience working with purchase order, procurement or workflow systems is advantageous.
Experience in an offshore or shared services delivery model is advantageous.
Responsibilities of role:
Procurement and Source to Pay delivery
Fulfil buying requests raised by the business and create purchase orders in line with agreed S2P processes.
Manage and maintain purchase orders through their lifecycle, including amendments, closures and query resolution.
Work with requestors and suppliers to resolve purchase order and buying queries promptly.
Complete contract administration and housekeeping to ensure records are accurate, complete and up to date.
Chase contract expiry dates and escalate at-risk contracts to the relevant Category Manager or Senior Associate.
Stakeholder and team support
Act as a point of contact for buying requests, purchase orders and related queries.
Escalate issues where judgement or senior input is required.
Work closely with UK-based colleagues to progress purchase order and contract activity efficiently and transparently.
Coordinate inputs from the business, subject matter experts and relevant tools.
Produce accurate and timely reporting on purchase orders, contract status and Source to Pay activity.
Provide reliable workflow updates and support reporting needs.
Quality, consistency and continuous improvement
Ensure purchase order and contract administration activity meets quality, completeness and timeliness standards.
Support the maintenance of SOPs and knowledge materials.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and capability building across the team.
Escalate concerns, issues and process inefficiencies promptly.
• Support the wider contracting process, including exposure to negotiation and supplier engagement activity, as part of development.
Desirable skill sets include:
Experience working with Source to Pay tools, ideally Coupa and workflow platforms.
Experience working in a corporate environment.
Experience working within an offshore or shared services delivery model
