About the role
Nexperia is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead complex research, development, study, and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects across multiple sites and functions. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering strategic projects that support our product roadmap and business objectives while ensuring quality, timeline, and budget commitments are achieved.
Working with stakeholders across R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, finance, purchasing, legal, IT, and leadership teams, you will coordinate cross-functional activities and drive projects from initiation through successful delivery.
What you will do
- Lead multiple projects within one or more strategic programs and ensure delivery of agreed business benefits
- Develop project plans, resource requirements, schedules, budgets, and governance frameworks
- Drive risk identification, mitigation planning, issue management, and project controls throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage project timelines and budgets while ensuring adherence to quality standards and governance requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across R&D, operations, test, quality, supply chain, purchasing, and external partners
- Monitor project performance and proactively address obstacles impacting delivery, cost, or time-to-market
- Provide regular updates to project sponsors and senior stakeholders
- Facilitate decision-making and ensure accountability for project deliverables
- Support continuous improvement of project management methodologies, governance, tools, and best practices
- Share lessons learned and contribute to strengthening Nexperia's project management capability across the organization
What you will need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, Project Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience leading multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Proven experience managing large-scale technical or business projects
- Strong project planning, resource planning, budget management, and scheduling capabilities
- Experience managing project risks, issues, changes, and stakeholder expectations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and reporting skills
- Fluent English communication skills
- Strong ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels of the organization
- Semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, or high-technology industry experience
- Experience working within international and matrix organizations
- Knowledge of NPI, product development, or R&D project environments
- Experience managing external suppliers, subcontractors, or technology partners
- Familiarity with business case development and CAPEX management
