Management Level:
Class 3This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only. Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
The starting base rate of pay is $21.05 per hour, with an additional $1.10 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift position placement.
Role Overview:
This position is responsible for assisting the supervisor with product flow, process efficiency, and product quality while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
In this position you will:
Be responsible for monitoring the audits done in the slicing room.
Conduct timely checks for metal detection, collect samples, label verification and other varying audits as needed within the Slicing Department as deemed necessary by management.
Have good communication and organizational skills to ensure the process is followed in compliance with product processing procedures and regulations.
Follow all Safety and Food Safety Procedures.
Be willing to work overtime as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to lift up to 10 pounds.
The Team Member will push/pull loaded bins with hand jack.
The Team Member will work in a cold and damp or dry environment.
The Team Member will perform repetitive motions, reaching above shoulders, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, climbing, standing, and walking.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
Qualifications:
No more than 4 attendance points.
No suspensions within past 12 months.
No more than 2 written warnings in the last 12 months.
No lateral, downward, or self-disqualification unless for higher classification for the past 6 months.
New TM’s still in 30 days of probationary period are not eligible to bid.
Probationary TM’s bidding after their first 30 days, must have no more than 2 points.
