Position Summary
The Demand Planning & Master Data Coordinator supports demand forecasting and product master data management to ensure accurate planning, inventory availability, and operational excellence. This role maintains product master data across ERP systems, supports forecasting activities, and partners with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure new product launches and ongoing planning activities are executed accurately and efficiently.

Position Summary
The Demand Planning & Master Data Coordinator supports demand forecasting and product master data management to ensure accurate planning, inventory availability, and operational excellence. This role maintains product master data across ERP systems, supports forecasting activities, and partners with Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure new product launches and ongoing planning activities are executed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Master Data Management
- Create, maintain, and audit product master data within ERP and planning systems.
- Manage SKU setup, product attributes, item hierarchies, units of measure, packaging configurations, and lifecycle changes.
- Coordinate cross-functional data collection for new product introductions and product updates.
- Ensure master data accuracy across ERP, planning, warehouse, and reporting systems.
- Perform routine master data validation, cleansing, and quality audits.
- Support data governance standards and documentation for product master records.
- Partner with IT and Supply Chain teams to resolve master data issues affecting planning, purchasing, manufacturing, or order fulfillment.
- Provide support for weekly and monthly demand forecasting meetings
- Assist with forecast maintenance within planning and ERP systems.
- Prepare reporting and analysis for weekly demand review meetings and monthly S&OP processes.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stock shortages or excess inventory.
- Support new product launch forecasting, SKU transitions, and product discontinuations.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Development, Regulatory, Finance, Operations, and Customer Service to support planning activities and product launches.
- Assist in improving planning processes and data quality initiatives.
- Develop reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI or Tableau.
- Support continuous improvement projects related to forecasting, inventory optimization, and data governance.
- 2+ years of experience in master data, demand planning, supply chain, inventory management, or business analytics.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH; Power Query is a plus).
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Exposure to planning tools (SAP IBP, APO, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, Anaplan) is preferred.
- Understanding of product master data, SKU management, and data governance principles is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced beauty or consumer products environment.
- Experience in beauty, cosmetics, apparel, or consumer packaged goods (CPG).
- Familiarity with retailer requirements for Sephora, Ulta, Target, Walmart, Amazon, or similar channels.
- Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) or Master Data Management (MDM) processes.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or basic data analytics.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field preferred
