We are currently looking for a Product Service Technician to join our Service Operations team in the Netherlands. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, upgrading and refurbishing Baxter medical devices used by healthcare professionals across the EMEA and APAC regions. You'll work as part of a collaborative service organization dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience after the sale.
What you'll do
As a Product Service Technician, you will:
- Troubleshoot, test, repair and maintain Baxter medical devices and approved OEM products.
- Configure and upgrade new and existing equipment.
- Refurbish returned devices to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
- Evaluate warranty eligibility and determine the appropriate repair process.
- Prepare repair quotations for customer-owned equipment.
- Document product failures, repair activities and service actions in internal systems.
- Provide technical troubleshooting support by phone when needed.
- Stay up to date on product developments, technical changes and service procedures.
- Ensure customer commitments and service timelines are met.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the service organization to deliver seamless customer support.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives using LEAN methodologies and problem-solving tools such as DMAIC and PDSA.
- Support additional service-related activities as required.

- The ability to manage multiple priorities and switch efficiently between tasks.
- Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to service excellence.
- Experience working with SAP, which would be considered a strong advantage.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate within an international team.
Education & Experience
- MBO4+ degree, preferably in Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar technical service, repair, maintenance or workshop environment.
