The opportunity
We are looking for high caliber professionals to join our team as Project Engineer. As a Project Engineer, you are responsible for assisting Project Manager or Engineer in charge with project execution in the field of power system control, protection, substation automation and communication system. Commencement of project process in all aspects from handover from sales until the end of the warranty period, to ensure the project meets the deadlines and achieves the project revenue on time.
How you’ll make an impact
1. You will provide schedule input for design tasks and preparation of task budgets and support senior engineers in developing and reviewing designs and construction.
2. You will review plans, prepare, and review technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates, and resolve complex problems, e.g., conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, and difficult coordination requirements.
3. You will participate in project working meetings, manage meeting minute, tasks, review contractor submittals and support the installation of power systems equipment, components, software, communication protocol, etc.
4. You will supervise sub-contractor works and/or provide technical supports to assigned projects.
5. You will regular project reporting such as progress, planning, financial, site safety etc.
6. You will work to customer satisfaction and meet schedule and budget constraints per project demands.
7. You will perform other duties assigned by the Operation Manager, e.g., execute projects according to company SOX, IMS & and cyber security requirements.
8. You will handle 24/7 emergency service work with team. (Over-Time pay provided)
9. You will act as a bridge between end customers and company’s factories and third party's suppliers for detail design, manufacturing & delivery schedule, factory acceptance tests and after sales services following up.
10. You will practice highest standards of health, safety and environment to ensure a safe working environment.
11. You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
1. Degree/High Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 3-5 years of relevant experiences in power electrical HV/MV substations.
2. Candidate with Grade B Registered Electrical Worker Certificate would be an advantage.
3. Experience in test and commissioning of HV power transmission and distribution substation or the secondary equipment of the power substation is an advantage.
4. Good analytical skills for troubleshooting and problem solving.

6. Self-motivated, independent, confident and able to work under pressure.
7. Good command of spoken and written in both English and Chinese. Mandarin is also an advantage.
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to be flexible and work in a team environment.
9. Must have own transportation and be willing to travel to project sites as required.
