Role Purpose
Our client is seeking an experienced AI leader to shape and deliver high-impact AI solutions across the organization. This role will bridge business strategy, enterprise architecture, data, and technology delivery, identify priority opportunities and converting them into secure, scalable, and measurable AI products.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI initiatives, from use-case discovery and value assessment through solution design, production deployment, governance, adoption, and scale-up. The scope may include Generative AI, AI agents, machine learning, intelligent automation, analytics, and AI-enabled customer or employee experiences.
- Define the enterprise Applied AI strategy, target architecture, technology roadmap, standards, and investment priorities in partnership with business and technology leadership.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize AI use cases based on strategic alignment, feasibility, data readiness, regulatory requirements, expected value, and adoption potential.
- Translate complex business needs into clear solution requirements, operating models, delivery road maps, and measurable success criteria.
- Lead the development and delivery of AI proof-of-concepts, MVPs, pilots, and production-scale solutions with engineering, data, product, risk, security, and business teams.
- Define patterns for GenAI applications, including copilots, knowledge assistants, AI agents, document intelligence, personalized engagement, and process automation.
- Establish Responsible AI and AI governance practices, covering privacy, security, model risk, human oversight, quality assurance, and ongoing performance monitoring.
- Assess build-versus-buy options; evaluate AI platforms, cloud services, models,
- Develop adoption plans, including process redesign, user training, change management, communications, and benefits-realization tracking.
The successful candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
- 10+ years of experience in technology, data, digital transformation, product, architecture, consulting, or related leadership roles, including significant experience delivering AI or data-driven solutions.
- Demonstrated experience taking AI, machine-learning, GenAI, or automation products from concept through production implementation.
- Good knowledge of modern AI architectures and practices, including LLMs, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, AI agents, model evaluation, MLOps/LLMOps, APIs, cloud platforms, and data integration.
- Experience in enterprise architecture, solution design, security, data governance, risk management, and technology operating models.
- Ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly to senior business stakeholders, executive committees, and non-technical users.
- Strong commercial judgment, including use-case prioritization, business-case development, vendor evaluation, and value/ROI measurement.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and navigating complex, regulated, or large-scale enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of sector-specific regulatory, privacy, and model-risk requirements is preferred where relevant.
