We’re looking for a Junior Environmental Advisor to join our Central Otago HSQES team. Start a career with Fulton Hogan with a role that provides hands-on experience, real responsibility and career opportunities in infrastructure and environmental management.

You’ll spend approximately 3 days per week out on site and working alongside operational teams, helping us meet high environmental standards, support compliance, and keep improving how we work. Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

  • Support the region to implement environmental systems, processes and sustainability commitments.
  • Carry out site visits, environmental assessments and audits, identifying risks and practical ways to reduce environmental impact.
  • Prepare and monitor environmental management plans in line with regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain consent, monitoring and compliance records through the CS-VUE consent compliance database.
  • Work with operational teams to support compliance, contribute to investigations, and provide environmental input into tenders, tailgates and communications.

  • A Tertiary qualification in Resource Management Planning or Environmental Management.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with people at all levels.
  • A practical, organised and detail-focused approach.
  • A Current NZ driver licence and a genuine willingness to learn and grow.
